Bonjour Bonjour

Grade 7 students have learned about describing people physically, talking about their age, nationality , where they live …etc. I am hoping they will find a chance to use this information in real life situations when they meet other French speakers.

We are also very excited about upcoming BASTILLE DAY festival. The French consulate is organizing a French festival in North Melbourne and has invited schools from around Melbourne to perform in French at the festival. Our grade 7 girls will participate with a song called "Dernière Danse" from French singer Indila. The details of the festival are below. Please come and support our Grade 7 girls on Sunday, July 16th at 11:30am.

Arabic

Year 7 & 8 Students were learning about the weather conditions in Arabic and the four seasons and in which months they fall in. Students can use their new vocabulary in sentences to give a weather forecast in Arabic. (Oracy, Literacy, Intercultural Understanding)

They have created an Arabic weather kahoot, as well as the four seasons posters.

Students also learnt new vocabulary about Ramadan and learnt Takbirat Al Eid.

Eid Mubarak everyone.
